The Position
Beyond Blue seeks to appoint an innovative and contemporary leader to the position of Chief Services Officer (CSO).  This newly created position within a redesigned executive team will lead the Supports and Service Lines of Business (LoB), overseeing operations and community outcomes and execution of person-centred and effective early intervention services.
Reporting to the CEO and as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the position will lead a dynamic workforce to guide the organisation to adapt and respond to the changing landscape in mental health service provision. Founded on driving a wholistic treatment and recovery focussed mental health journey, the position will ensure that Beyond Blue delivers the strategic operational elements associated with the transformational change program.
The Chief Services Officer will be respected for highly developed emotional, conceptual, analytical and presentation skills, and accomplished in dealing with complex and sensitive matters.  With strong commercial acumen, a record of achievement as a senior Executive, including from outside the healthcare services sector, the appointee will have proven ability driving innovation, shaping consumer orientated programs, and guiding positive organisational culture change, You will be an exceptional communicator, equipped with highly regarded leadership and change management skills and a clear understanding of risk.  Relevant tertiary qualifications required.
