The Position
The Principal of Caulfield Junior College will lead the planning, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of student educational outcomes. The position will ensure a comprehensive, high quality education program to all students. The Principal will provide leadership on both strategic and operational day-to-day matters, as well as drive strategic impact on learning and teaching.
The successful candidate will be an influential and collaborative leader who will involve staff, students and the community in the development, implementation and review of school policies, programs and operations. You will be an experienced Principal with demonstrated ability to create a shared vision and to lead innovation and change with evidence-based improvement plans. You will have the capability to develop partnerships with all stakeholders and contribute to system-level activities. The ability to build community and a reputation of excellence via diplomacy, advocacy and problem solving, will be essential to the success of this role.
The Organisation
Caulfield Junior College (CJC) is a Victorian State Government Primary School accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) for adhering to international standards. The College is Melbourne’s only bi-national Primary School accredited to deliver both the Australian and French curriculum in accordance with the Department of Education and Training (DET) and the French Ministry of Education’s standards and practices.
