The Australian National University (ANU) seeks to appoint a distinguished scholar and outstanding leader as the next Dean of the ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS).

The ANU College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) is a vibrant and diverse community of more than three thousand students, staff, and visitors.  The College comprises three schools: the School of Computing, School of Cybernetics, and School of Engineering, supported by the Professional Services Group.  The College draws on disciplinary foundations to find and solve problems of global importance, bringing expertise in social, technical, ecological and scientific systems to build a new approach.
The Dean, CECS, provides leadership to the College and across the University as a member of the ANU senior management group.  Internationally recognised and with an outstanding track record in academic leadership and reputation in their field, the Dean will be a dynamic, entrepreneurial and visionary leader, able to inspire and engage with a range of stakeholders across academia, government and industry.  With a commitment to delivering successful outcomes for the College and University, the Dean will foster innovative and strategic research and education that aligns with the University’s strategic plan and the College’s priorities in engineering, science and technology.  The successful candidate will be innovative and ambitious, with a passion for working collaboratively and the gravitas to represent the College and broader University on an international stage.
