The Position
Ivanhoe Grammar School is seeking a new Deputy Principal/ Head of the Ridgeway Campus to lead the teaching and learning, pastoral and co-curricular activities of the school to the highest level.
Reporting to, and deputising for, the Principal, the Deputy Principal will be responsible for the delivery of contemporary pedagogy and student well-being programs, whilst ensuring a safe, stimulating and challenging environment. Providing leadership in both the strategic and operational day-to-day matters, as well as enabling quality and excellence in spearheading improvements and continuous innovation are key aspects of this role.
The successful candidate will be a strong and experienced leader, with the recognised ability to operate across a whole of school environment. The appointee will display exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with an engaging approach and the ability to inspire trust and acceptance from a range of stakeholders. With outstanding organisational skills and a practical approach, the successful candidate will be a progressive thinker, results driven, analytical and inspirational. The ideal candidate will possess values which support the ethos and faith of the school and a genuine desire to be part of a thriving school community.
The Organisation
Ivanhoe Grammar School is an independent coeducational school catering for students from Early Learning Centre to Year 12, with campuses at Ivanhoe and Plenty. A Year 9 University Campus will be opened later this year.
