The Position
CREST Education seeks to appoint a well-respected and highly visible educational leader to the position of Deputy Principal Staff and Students. This is a significant leadership position that will play a key role upholding and contributing to the CREST culture.
Reporting to the Executive Principal, the Deputy Principal Staff and Students will build and develop a strong rapport with the school executive team to ensure the school continues to fulfil its aspirations as a leading independent school. The Deputy Principal Staff and Students is a school wide role and has responsibility for enabling the strategic pillars of Instilling Faith, Pursuing Excellence, Nurturing Wellbeing and Serving Community to realise the CREST principal purpose of a Christian school of excellence.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, innovative and a strong educational leader who can consider the future of education delivery whilst staying connected with contemporary practices to drive a culture of excellence. The appointee will demonstrate a strong ability to build relationships, have experience dealing with the dynamic nature of a school environment of this size, and be measured and calm in their approach. The appointee will demonstrate a clear sense of direction and purpose with a collaborative leadership style and the ability to lead with purpose.
The Organisation
CREST Education precinct is located on 138 acres in Melbourne’s south-east and is part of the City of Casey. The precinct consists of six distinct components: Hillcrest Christian College, Rivercrest Christian College, Ayr Hill Equestrian Centre, an Environmental Reserve, Corporate Services and Crest Institute.
Linking each of the precinct components together, is a shared set of beliefs and values. The distinctiveness of offerings, facilities and environments provides a high level of differentiation and a range of unique activities.
