The Position
The Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning at Malek Fahd Islamic School is a member of the school Executive Team and works across all three campuses of the school. They will have direct responsibility for Teaching and Learning from Kindergarten to Year 12. The appointee will demonstrate an up to date understanding of current and emerging approaches to teaching and learning and how they relate in an Islamic School.
Malek Fahd Islamic School has an outstanding record for academic achievement and the successful applicant will be charged with the responsibility to lead the Primary and Secondary Curriculum Coordinators and the Heads of Departments to maintain and grow these high standards through improving Pedagogical approaches across the school. The school has a strong focus on wellbeing and is focused on the holistic development of the child.
The successful applicant does not need to be a practicing Muslim but will need to have a strong commitment to the Islamic ethos.
The Organisation
Malek Fahd Islamic School (MFIS) is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational independent school in NSW, with approximately 3,000 students and 300 staff across its three campuses located at Greenacre, Beaumont Hills and Hoxton Park.
