Who we need:
As we enter an exciting, challenging and evolving environment; we seek an experienced and innovative leader to develop business relationships and opportunities and work as both a trusted partner and known collaborator across the housing sector.  Reporting to the Executive Director Development, working closely with the development team and partnering with the Finance Team as needed, this role will lead business growth enabling the delivery of a significant increase in housing stock and oversee all project management requirements to provide more affordable housing and meet the needs of the most vulnerable Victorians.  With creativity and foresight, we seek an inspirational leader seek an inspirational leader with imagination and foresight to forge alliances and lead initiatives that realise shared value.  A person committed to ending homelessness and has the talent to drive engagement that persuades the community, government, and corporate sector to adopt and support new ways of thinking.
 
Why we need you:
You will bring an extensive track record in identifying potential development and acquisition opportunities.  With knowledge and experience in monitoring Government policy positions and program developments and industry and sector developments related to social and affordable housing, you will collaborate with the Executive Team to position HHS’s capacity to deliver on these opportunities.  With outstanding interpersonal skills, you will build targeted partnerships to create and maintain a development pipeline.  Your exceptional project governance skills and experience will ensure that modern, and relevant systems and processes are in place to deliver appropriate monitoring and reporting requirements.  With your highly developed problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills, you will bring a pragmatic approach with a social outcomes lens. As a leader, you will demonstrate transparent, responsible, and performance-based culture and practice across all development pipeline and partner engagement aspects. Known for your relationship building capability to engage and influence, you will derive deep satisfaction from a role that that impact the people who need it most.
 
Where you will be:
You will be located in Melbourne, Geelong or Bendigo with regular travel to all HHS offices and other intra-state locations.
