The Position
Lead and manage Children, Youth and Family services delivery with an energy and passion that ensures foster care, residential care and after care services provide a safe and supportive environment where children can heal and grow. Encourage and model collaboration amongst teams to deliver high quality services to children in out of home care. Engage with sector partners to successfully deliver on contracts and be responsible for seeking to understand the experience of those in Life Without Barriers’ (LWB) care.
Reporting to the (national) Executive Director Client Services – Children, Youth and Family, you will lead three Regional Directors based in Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. With circa 420 placements and a team of 250 employees, you will manage a budget of $30M per year.
To succeed, you will possess a track record of operational leadership gained from an out of home care environment and one which is focused on complex service delivery across a state-wide network. You’ll demonstrate a highly innovative and transformative approach to leading change, and outstanding communication and stakeholder skills. Key to your success will be your ability to lead a large portfolio in a highly competitive and evolving sector, ensuring the highest levels of services are provided within a demanding financial, regulatory and commercial landscape.
Tertiary level qualifications in social work, psychology or related clinical field, or equivalent business management field required.  Successful candidates will also be required to clear probity including National Criminal History Record Check as well as Working with Children Checks and State based probity checks.
Some travel will be required when circumstances make this possible. The successful applicant will have flexibility to work from home and an office of their choice in Richmond, Dandenong or Sunshine.
