The City of Manningham is seeking an engaging and strategic leader to join this vibrant, values–based city council.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director will take a visionary approach in the areas of strategic and statutory planning, health and local laws, building services and environmental planning. This is a critical appointment for the Council as the organisation responds and proactively plans to meet the rapidly changing requirements of the municipality.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic professional with the ability to enable the organisation to transform and evolve. As a strategic thinker, you will have the ability to provide direction and vision to the directorate, with a commitment to customer service, innovation and continuous improvement in line with Manningham’s Citizen Connect program. You will be politically astute and have exceptional negotiation and communication skills. Tertiary qualifications, coupled with significant experience in strategic and/or statutory planning, is essential.
