The Position
Mallee Family Care is currently seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative Director Client Services to expand upon wide ranging human service delivery programs across Northern Victoria and Southern New South Wales. The Director Client Services oversees the delivery of service planning, partnership engagement, continuous improvement, and contractual elements in line with strategic operational goals specific to the social challenges faced by clients within the geographic area they serve.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, and as a member of the Executive Committee, the Director will maintain strategic and operational oversight and leadership over the Community Services, Mental Health and Wellbeing program areas. The position provides direct line management of relevant Service Managers and oversight of the program’s workforce, strengthening communities through needs analysis, continuous improvement activities and developing and promoting new initiatives.
The successful candidate will be experienced in leading growth and change in complex environments. A track record of delivering against robust quality frameworks, fostering innovation and new initiatives, whilst successfully managing operational risk associated with human service delivery will be a key determinant of this role. There will be a requirement for exemplary leadership and stakeholder relationship management skills to ensure success in this position.
Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or equivalent are mandatory. Post graduate qualifications in Business Management will be highly regarded. As the position is based in Mildura, Relocation support will be provided, and candidates may be eligible for rural and remote living allowance, as well as salary packaging entitlements.
