The Director Corporate and Finance is responsible for the leadership, planning, development, coordination and evaluation of Yarrawonga Health’s (YH) corporate operations in accordance with YH vision and values. As a member of the Executive Team, the DCF is the principal advisor to the CEO and Corporate Governance Committee on corporate matters. Corporate functions of YH include; Administration, Facilities, Finance & Procurement, Hotel Services, and ICT.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this role will lead a team of 5 direct reports and provide operational management and strategic leadership to the Corporate & Finance Directorate. This will include strategic and service planning to evolve corporate operations and participation in capital planning and capital project work.
The ideal candidate will bring relevant expertise gained in public health and/or aged care, preferably with an understanding of rural health services. Demonstrated leadership skills and a track record in design, implementation and maintenance of effective monitoring and reporting frameworks are essential requirements. Strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to lead change and process improvement will be key to success, along with qualifications in Accounting, Business, or Corporate Health Management.

Yarrawonga Health are located on the magnificent Murray River and the shores of Lake Mulwala, on the border of Victoria and New South Wales. The area is a popular tourist destination and home to a vast array of local attractions and community activities.
As a 119 bed (including Aged Care) fully integrated rural public health service, YH employs approximately 300 staff and service a 100 km radius with an estimated catchment area of around 12,000 people.
