The Position
The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) are a highly respected department that plays a critical and influential role at the heart of State government.  DTF works on leading edge economic, financial and resource management policy and strives to achieve improvement in the lives of all Victorians. The Director –Corporate Performance is an integral part of DTF’s Corporate Delivery Services Group and directs the functional areas of reporting and planning, audit and risk, freedom of information, integrity, accommodation and Cabinet and Parliamentary services specifically.
The Director –Corporate Performance will relish the challenge of coordinating key stakeholder responses and producing important corporate products within fixed timeframes and will seize continuous improvement opportunities. The role focusses on influence, collaboration and innovation and requires both strategy development and strategy execution.
The successful candidate will have proven experience leading similar corporate functions in complex, large scale environments.  A track record of delivering best practice corporate service strategies focused on improving organisational outcomes will be a key determinant of this role.  There will be a requirement for contemporary leadership, exemplary relationship management skills as well as comfort with ambiguity and complexity to ensure success in this position.
Tertiary qualifications in business or organisational change, are high desirable. Superior written communication skills are mandatory.
