The Position
As a key organisational leader, join your executive peers to drive our transformation, including a high-performance culture of service excellence. Bring your strong financial acumen, outstanding people leadership and contemporary understanding of integrated, effective business models. Your leadership will contribute to our great culture, focus on strategic planning capability and long-term sustainability.
Reporting to the CEO, you will ensure that the organisation applies best practice corporate leadership, policy and process. This position also liaises closely with Councillors to provide high level strategic and operational advice. With five direct reports you will lead and develop the areas of finance & corporate performance, people & culture, governance and integrity, strategic communications & customer service, and information technology.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in the operational management of a multi-faceted Corporate Services function, with demonstrated experience at senior management level in a mid to large size complex organisation. Local Government experience would be an advantage.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Management, Strategic Planning or relevant discipline are expected. Additional post graduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
