The Position
The Director Corporate Services will be pivotal in supporting the CEO to drive organisational performance and build an organisational culture based on IBAC’s core values. This role is accountable for corporate and strategic functions including finance, information management, people and culture and governance and risk.
As a senior executive of Victoria’s state anti-corruption agency, the role demands the highest standards of ethical behaviour. It has 4 direct reports and oversees a multi-disciplinary team. The position also represents the agency on external committees, bodies, forums and working parties.
The successful candidate will have a track record in impactful strategic planning and will have delivered sustainable performance in a similar public sector or integrity environment. Deep financial and governance/ risk capability is essential.
Senior-level experience involving managing several functional groups is expected and tertiary qualifications are a given. Candidates must be an Australian citizen and the successful candidate will be required to undergo appropriate vetting.
The Organisation
The Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) is Victoria’s agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct.  Jurisdiction covers state and local government, police, parliament and the judiciary.
Corruption hurts all Victorians. It denies fairness and justice. It also diminishes the delivery of important frontline government services, infrastructure and the protection of all Victorians.
IBAC has a clear vision for a Victorian public sector that actively resists corruption.
