William Angliss Institute (WAI) is seeking to appoint a dynamic and collaborative leader to the position of Director Education to deliver outstanding and contemporary academic outcomes in a highly competitive market. This role will play an integral role in leading the education and compliance agenda across WAI and ensure the delivery of an exceptional learning experience for students.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the newly created role of Director Education will be a key member of the executive, focussed on aligning vocational and higher education delivery, maximising opportunities for student progression and innovation in teaching and learning. The Director Education will ensure the organisation’s education programs and pathways are future focussed, innovative and support industry needs.
The successful candidate will bring extensive vocational and/or higher education operational and strategic expertise to the team. Demonstrating strong industry links and a commercial mindset, the appointee will ideally possess relevant discipline experience in either the foods, tourism, hospitality and/or events industry. With an inclusive and positive leadership style, the appointee will demonstrate the ability to drive and manage organisational change and lead WAI’s education agenda. A relevant qualification at graduate or post graduate level will be essential.
