The Director Engagement and Communications will be an integral member of the executive team providing the leadership that builds the brand presence of Solar Victoria as the ‘go to’ agency for residential solar support. This will be achieved through consistent and powerful messaging of Solar Victoria’s vision, purpose and programs.
Reporting to the CEO of Solar Victoria, the role is responsible for leading a team that delivers on communications and marketing, digital, stakeholder and issues management, corporate engagement, internal communications and media. A key requirement of the role is partnering and collaborating with government and industry stakeholders to achieve impactful and sustainable outcomes.
To be successful in the role you will have established a name for yourself as a collaborative expert in the field who brings foresight and clarity of purpose. The ability to influence and negotiate at the most senior levels in challenging and complex environments is essential. You will have experience developing high-performance teams and your attributes will include energy drive, resilience and proactivity.
In an Australian first, Solar Victoria will deliver solar panels to over 700,000 homes in the next 10 years. This exciting, $1.3 billion program will also see solar hot water installed in 60,000 Victorian households and batteries to 10,000.
Solar Victoria will be based in Morwell with a Melbourne office presence.
