The Position 

The Director, Enterprise Digital Strategy & Service develops integrated technology architecture and digital strategies to deliver agile and fit for purpose business solutions for high-quality delivery of Solar Victoria’s programs, 

Reporting to the Executive Director, Customer Experience, Digital and Delivery, you will be responsible for leading the digital architecture roadmap to enable Solar Victoria’s strategic directions that drive innovation, continuous improvement, customer centricity and streamlining of enterprise digital services.   

This pivotal role calls for a contemporary and commercial leader highly capable in digital leadership, who can develop high performing teams, with a track record as an innovative thinker willing to challenge the status quo and build integrated and adaptable solutions to achieve service excellence. Positive internal and external stakeholder engagement is critical, along with a ‘business wide’ lens.  

You will come with a proven track record in digital strategy, digital service delivery, business/financial management, and technology management gained within a complex organisation. Significant experience in a range of information systems, technology products and services, including large scale digital, application and ICT services projects is expected. Sector experience in sustainability, renewables, or energy will be treated favorably,  

Your work location isn’t a barrier to you applying for this opportunity. The work location is flexible by agreement with the manager. Regular travel between Solar Victoria’s office locations in Melbourne and Morwell may be required.

Solar Victoria is a portfolio entity of the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) in the Victorian State Government, 

Solar Victoria’s purpose is to enable access to affordable, reliable and clean energy for Victorians now and in the future.    

We deliver the Victorian Government’s $1.3 billion Solar Homes Program, providing rebates to eligible households for solar panels, hot water systems and batteries, as well as solar for rental properties. In addition, we have complementary programs that support small businesses with solar, individuals and businesses with subsidies for zero emissions vehicles and low-income households to upgrade to energy efficient heating and cooling.  

Our ambitious and transformative program aims to deliver solar power to 778,500 Victorian homes over 10-years and reach one million Victorians.
