Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) seeks an outstanding individual to take a key executive role in realising the mission of Catholic education, promoting strong, shared leadership, creativity and innovative practice. This important position will lead critical tasks in driving an extensive school planning and infrastructure program, embedding strengthened school and organisational financial management, and implementing an enhanced enterprise-wide IT capability for the governance of almost 300 schools.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Director will lead a large, multi-disciplinary team across school finances, school planning and infrastructure, and IT, setting the strategic direction for each function. Building a high-performing and committed team, the Director will promote a culture of performance and development.
With appropriate tertiary qualifications, the successful candidate will be experienced in leading high-performing teams in at least one of the operational functions of infrastructure and capital planning, financial management and strategy, and IT enterprise systems. With outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, the Director will bring executive level experience in leadership and a collaborative mindset. The newly-established Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Ltd (MACS) will be responsible for the governance and operation of almost 300 schools in the Archdiocese of Melbourne.
