Board Director – Finance, Audit and Risk Expertise
Queen Victoria Market Pty Ltd (QVMPL) is a Melbourne icon and an epicentre of small business retail, hospitality, tourism, and cultural and community events.
QVMPL is a whole owned subsidiary of the City of Melbourne, and the city is seeking to appoint two new Directors.
We are looking for expressions of interest from Victorians with specific expertise as follows:
Board Director – Finance, Audit and Risk Expertise (Ref: QVMdar0821)
QVMPL requires a Director with extensive experience in audit, financial governance, and risk management. The successful candidate will be a CA or CPA and able to provide independent strategic advice on statutory accounting and reporting, financial management and corporate governance and will have demonstrated board experience.
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate an ability to support the Market in delivering on its QVM Future Market Strategy which can be found at:

Each Director will bring an element of expertise that will complement the skills of existing Directors. We also seek individuals that contribute diversity and inclusion to the Board.
Employees and family members of QVMPL, the City of Melbourne or Queen Victoria Market traders are not eligible to apply.
