Melbourne Polytechnic is seeking to appoint a highly experienced professional to the position of Director, Information, Communication and Technology. This role will lead a continued phase of change and transformation to deliver future focused IT platforms, tools and services that will enhance the experience of students and staff.
As a member of the leadership team, you will report to the Executive Director, Finance and Infrastructure and lead a team in the delivery of projects, future focused platforms and services to enhance the experience of the Melbourne Polytechnic community. Leading the function in the implementation of its newly developed digital strategy will be a key priority and enabler of achieving Melbourne Polytechnic’s strategic objectives.
As an accomplished leader, with proven experience in education or a complex and challenging ICT environment, you will be motivated by process and business transformation. Your knowledge of the latest developments and future trends in security technology, risk management, server and cloud technology, will be key to identifying compliance and improvement opportunities. Skilled at engaging stakeholders and leading teams through change, your technical ability will be complemented by strong project and budget management skills.
