The Position
The Director, Internal Audit provides independent, objective assurance and advice to add value and improve the University’s operations. This role supports the University’s objectives by evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Reporting through to the Vice-Chancellor and working closely with the UTS Council’s Audit and Risk Committee, the Director plays a critical role in ensuring that audit activities contribute positively to the University’s objectives through effective collaboration and communication with all relevant stakeholders.
We are seeking candidates with highly developed leadership skills and technical expertise, with proven experience working in a similarly complex environment. The successful candidate will bring exceptional communication skills and the ability to operate independently at senior levels, with high levels of integrity and influence.
This position is offered on a 5-year fixed term contract, with attractive remuneration and benefits.
