The Position
The Director of Community Engagement is a pivotal position focused on cultivating the engagement of the school community by building relationships with all stakeholders.
Reporting to the Principal and a member of the School Executive, the appointee will articulate a strategic vision for community engagement and subsequently ensure operational alignment across the areas of admissions, enrolment, marketing, philanthropy and alumni.  The successful candidate will lead a stable and high functioning team with the responsibility of positioning the school at the forefront of independent education in Victoria and building on the strong sense of belonging in our diverse community.
Regarded as a highly influential and commercially savvy leader, the ideal candidate will exhibit a strong background in community engagement including specific experience in philanthropy, combined with demonstrated marketing and communications skills and the capability to drive an agenda of innovation.  With exceptional communication, interpersonal and advocacy skills, the appointee will maintain a strong and visible presence at school functions and events, ensuring the Director is known and recognised as a credible source of information and a prominent member of the school community.  Key to success in this position will be the development of authentic relationships to reflect the diversity and particular nuances of the School community.
