The Position
Reporting to the Principal, the Director of Community Engagement is responsible for articulating a vision for Community Engagement across the School and for creating strategic alignment across the School’s Admissions, Marketing and Communications, Alumni and Advancement departments. The role will bring together these key strategic pillars, whilst exploring opportunities to impact the School’s overall approach to Community Engagement.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who will have the natural ability to create an authentic connection with the Mentone Girls’ Grammar community. The new Director will be relational and imaginative and will embody a distributive leadership style in theory and practice
The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the independent school sector, as well as the School’s reputation, market presence and context, coupled with a proven history of delivering results. Presenting with exceptional communication, interpersonal and advocacy skills, the appointee will display a strong alignment to the School’s overarching vision and values.
