The Position

An exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and ambitious leader to bring courageous thinking and extensive experience to a role that is influential and pivotal in achieving Westbourne Grammar School’s award-winning strategic vision.

Working with a dynamic Executive team, the position of Director People and Culture will assume responsibility for the overarching HR strategy, ensuring the school attracts, retains, and develops the very best people. Reporting directly to the principal, this position will also lead and manage talent acquisition, recruitment, induction, onboarding, performance management, industrial relations, compliance, and oversee the management of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

Demonstrating an ability to align contemporary people and culture strategies in a fast-paced environment, the right person will be a great communicator, possess a high degree of emotional intelligence and can deliver end-to-end on projects and initiatives that sit within the portfolio.

While prior experience within the independent education sector will be highly regarded the school is keen to hear from candidates in other sectors.
