The Position
Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, the Director People and Patient Experience is a new position that has been created to actively lead the provision of quality and integrated People and Patient experiences at the Women’s.  The Director will play a critical role in creating a high-performance culture at the Women’s where employees create exceptional experiences with their colleagues and patients.
The Director holds responsibility for the strategic and operational activities supporting the employment and people needs of the Women’s, in addition to driving programs and outcomes across employee engagement and development.  A key opportunity for this position is the integration of strategies that recognise the contribution our people have in creating exceptional experiences with our patients and consumers.  Working with qualitative and quantitative data, the Director will determine insights that will drive recommendations for system and process improvements.
The successful candidate will possess demonstrated HR leadership experience, specifically Organisational Development experience, ideally gained within a healthcare environment.  With outstanding communication and relationship building skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to actively lead change initiatives that deliver real outcomes.  The appointee will think innovatively and have demonstrated the ability to lead in large and complex environments.  The successful candidate will ideally present with prior experience in patient/consumer /client experience.   Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are essential.
