The Position
A relationships driven role, the Director Service Management and Technology will lead a team of commercially minded and technologically savvy individuals to develop a sound service management framework and contract management plans as well as an integrated technology platform that enables digital interactions for all Solar Homes participants and facilitates loan and rebate payments.
The successful candidate will report into the Executive Director Customer Experience and lead the commercial and operational performance of critical service providers, the technology strategy and implementation, and system performance in line with a best practice service management framework.
As a digitally experienced, commercially minded professional you will have previously worked in a similar commercial or technology management role in a high-pressure environment, negotiating and influencing complex and diverse stakeholders to achieve exceptional performance and service outcomes. Demonstrable experience in commercial innovation and operational insight is expected. Experience of government contracts/procurement and the ability to bring together the system as a whole is also advantageous. A technology background would be highly regarded as well as relevant tertiary qualifications.
This role is a 2-year fixed term contract, based in Melbourne with some travel to Morwell.
The Organisation
In an Australian first, the newly established Solar Victoria will deliver solar panels to 700,000 homes over the next 10 years.
This exciting, $1.34 billion program will also see solar hot water installed in 60,000 Victorian households and batteries to 10,000.
Solar Victoria has offices in Melbourne and Morwell.
