The Lifetime Learner Experience (LLE) Unit has recently been created to take a holistic approach to the student journey, from initial enquiry to graduation from the University.  The Director, Student Administration will provide effective leadership to, and management of, a portfolio of teams delivering administrative services to commencing and current learners.  Ensuring compliance with relevant requirements and legislation, the Director will ensure the ongoing provision of high quality, student centric services across functions including enquiry management, study plan management, fees, timetabling, exams and graduations, for both domestic and international students.  This role offers a real opportunity to shape an outstanding student experience, fostering a culture of learner-centricity and lifetime learning.

The Director, Student Administration reports directly to the Executive Director, Lifetime Learner Experience and works alongside the Director, Future Learners and Head, LLE Operations.  The successful candidate will have six direct reports, each with responsibility for additional teams and functions.

With a track record in leadership in higher education, the ideal candidate will bring an understanding of current trends and issues in universities and education more broadly.  Outstanding communication and people management skills will be key, with the ability to inspire, motivate and support high performing teams, whilst celebrating success.  With an analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex problems, the appointee will bring strengths in project management, change management and strategic planning, with creativity and flexibility.  Relevant tertiary qualifications will be expected.
