The Position

Reporting to the Deputy CEO, The Director Workforce Operations (DWO) will lead the People Operations, People Projects and Change, and Talent Management function to deliver a partnership model that influences and builds capability and performance across the organisation. Providing strategic and operational advice to the Senior Executive Group, the DWO will design, develop and implement designing and delivering fit for purpose and contemporary people programs, IR advice provision and risk governance, employment compliance, recruitment, organisational change processes and Human Resource service delivery model.  A leader, advocate and custodian of culture, the DWO will ensure the practice of values and people processes are aligned with culture, fostering accountability, innovation and continuous improvement.

The successful incumbent will be a collaborative, engaging and outcome focused leader who builds capability and is a mentor of staff, building relationships across the organisation to influence and drive change.  Demonstrated experience in business growth through people leadership, and in the design and delivery of organisational change in a complex industrial environment will be critical for the success of this role.  Tertiary qualifications in human resources or equivalent is essential and membership with AHRI or similar professional body will be highly regarded.
