Reporting to the Director, Aged Care Services, The Divisional Manager Community Age Care, will lead the operations, continuous improvement and growth of the portfolio that includes Home Care Packages, Claims Conference Holocaust Survivor Support Program, Allied Health Community Services and the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP). The CHSP also supports a vibrant social support group program and allied health services delivered through Jewish Cares Active Living Centres. With a strong focus on the delivery of outstanding client experience with a commercial lens, the Divisional Manager will lead and manage improvement projects and engage the workforce to build a strong sense of purpose in care delivery. The Divisional Manager will also build the portfolio, seeking opportunities to expand the growth of home based care and provide services that respond to the changing needs of clients and the regulatory environment.
The Divisional Manager will be a contemporary, supportive and collaborative leader who empowers teams and creates an environment that allows people to shine, supporting their development and growth. With previous experience as a Senior Leader managing Home Care Services, the Divisional Manager will bring a strategic lens to drive growth, utilising business insights and the experience of the broader business. The Divisional Manager will display a high degree of financial acumen, with the ability to navigate complexity and influence. The delivery of quality services and customer excellence, unpinned the values of Jewish Care, will be key to success.
Over 1,000 Jewish Care Victoria employees and 350 volunteers enrich the lives of over 6,000 people each year, by providing vital supports and services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, unemployment, emotional and financial difficulties, mental health conditions, and people living with a disability. The organisation also provides professional and culturally sensitive person-centred community and residential aged care that empowers seniors to remain healthy, independent, and connected to the community.
