TAFE SA seeks an outstanding candidate to lead its Academic Development and Quality functions, supporting the Chief Executive to deliver a range of strategic projects.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and with direct reports in Teaching and Learning and RTO Quality and Compliance, the Executive Director supports the delivery of TAFE SA’s teaching and learning targets, driving the transformation of educational products and delivery. The role also provides strategic advice with regard to regulatory requirements, including ASQA, TEQSA and other key external bodies as appropriate, ensuring engagement and understanding of these requirements across the organisation.
With a strategic commitment to invest significantly in quality systems across the organisation, the new Executive Director will champion best-practice systems and approaches across the educational delivery stream and play an integral part in driving TAFE SA’s vision to be Australia’s leading vocational education and training provider.
With proven success in a large and complex learning environment, the ideal candidate will be a hands-on, self-motivated and resilient individual with demonstrated experience in leading the provision of quality assurance in teaching and learning. With a track record in working at an executive level in the tertiary education and/or VET sector you will bring outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate and develop initiatives to positively impact the organisation.
