The Position
About the role
You will lead our Civil Justice, Access & Equity programs to contribute to an inclusive and rights-respecting community and ensure our services are accessible and appropriate to need.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the delivery of high quality civil justice services throughout Victoria, expand the reach and  effectiveness of our legal services to priority groups via the use of technology, and position our Legal Help telephone service as the main entry point for clients to the whole legal assistance sector. You will also oversee legal aid service delivery in the Shepparton region and contribute as a thought and organisational leader.
About you
You will have substantial knowledge and experience in the civil justice system including a thorough understanding of current trends, issues and challenges, as well as a demonstrated interest in delivering legal assistance and education via targeted and technologically innovative means. Your excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to influence opinions, will be crucial to building mutually beneficial relationships with partners and influencing law reform and justice outcomes. As a strategic leader you will embody our values of fairness, care and courage to inspire confidence and develop our people.
