Southern Cross University (SCU) seeks an outstanding individual to provide leadership to manage the staff and operations of Southern Cross Global, driving excellence in service delivery and enhanced partnerships and relationships that support the University’s strategic plan.

Reporting to the Vice President (Engagement), this is a key leadership role within the Engagement portfolio.  The Executive Director will drive a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, quality and performance in the development and implementation of global partnerships, programs and projects to achieve the University’s targets for international student recruitment and collaboration.

With knowledge and experience of international student recruitment, mobility and support, the ideal candidate will bring a detailed knowledge of relevant policies and legislation.  A strategic mindset, entrepreneurial flair, and the ability to develop, monitor and evaluate an innovative new international recruitment strategy, with a focus on quality and sustainability will be essential.  Strong cultural awareness, with superlative interpersonal and communication skills will be important in representing the University on a global stage, with strengths in influencing, advocating, and developing and fostering productive relationships.  High level analytical and problem-solving skills will be important, as will an ability to successfully implement evidence-based change initiatives.  The successful candidate will relish the opportunity to be a part of the University’s ongoing growth and innovation, facilitating outstanding experience and opportunities for all students.
