The Position
Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) is currently seeking to appoint a senior executive to the position of Executive Director People & Culture to lead the ongoing development of a responsive, innovative and strategic People & Culture service.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position will be a key member of the Peter Mac executive team.  Responsibility will focus on providing a strong vision for People & Culture within the organisation, in addition to building a positive and engaging workplace culture.  The Executive Director People & Culture will prioritise a best practice, contemporary people services delivery model focused on developing capability in leadership, organisational development, health safety and wellbeing, industrial relations, performance management and change .  The ED P&C will lead our People Strategy embedded as a key pillar in our exciting new 5 year strategy.
With proven experience in effectively leading human resource management functions, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong prior experience within the health sector, demonstrating high levels of credibility.  Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships and stakeholder relationships, are vital.  Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are essential.
