Proudly delivering exceptional education and training over its 38-year history, Holmesglen seeks an experienced human resources executive to lead the People and Culture function, with a key focus on driving cultural change to improve staff engagement and performance outcomes.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and leading a team of approximately 20, the Executive Director will provide strategic leadership in the development and implementation of contemporary practices and policies, whilst creating a rewarding and engaging employee experience.  Building leadership capability, succession planning and a performance-based culture will be key indicators of success, as will effective leadership of industrial relations, safety and staff wellbeing.
With a strong track record gained in large and complex environments, the successful candidate will be a people and culture specialist.  Proficient in driving contemporary best practice, the successful candidate will be able to lead the delivery of effective organisational development strategies that inspire a connected and high performing team.  Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to coach, mentor and engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.  A degree in a relevant discipline is required.  An understanding of current issues facing the education sector would be an advantage, but not essential.
