Peninsula Health is currently seeking to appoint an Executive Director People and Culture to lead the organisation’s People Strategy and provide trusted advice across the organisation, executive team and provide assurance to Board in matters related to the people strategy, risk and compliance. As a key executive leader, the ED People Wellbeing & Workplace Safety will build organisational capability in leadership, change management, diversity and equity and build workforce strategies for the attraction and retention of workforce. At a time when there is significant change across the organisation including capital development and technology improvement projects, the Executive Director will lead change processes aligned to the portfolio and ensure the alignment of Our People objectives with the broader organisational strategy.
The successful incumbent will be an engaging, innovative and collaborative leader who inspires trust, seizing opportunities to drive change and have impact across the organisation. Demonstrated strategic leadership experience in a complex environment, leading significant change, building capability, workplace safety and wellbeing will be key to the success of this role. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology, Industrial Relations or Health Administration will be highly desirable.
The Organisation
Peninsula Health is the major metropolitan health service for Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula. Caring for a population of 300,000 people, which swells to over 400,000 people during the peak tourism seasons, the organisation provides care across the life continuum from obstetrics, paediatrics, emergency medicine, intensive care, critical care, surgical and general medicine, rehabilitation, and oncology, through to aged care and palliative care. With over 7000 staff and 750 volunteers, the organisation also provides services in community health, health education and promotion, ambulatory care, and mental health.
