The Planning Group delivers functions focused on Planning Performance and Insights, Planning Reform, Planning Facilitation, Statutory Planning Services, Planning Implementation and Heritage, Building, and Planning Panels Victoria. The newly created Planning Facilitation Division will be instrumental in supporting and enabling delivery of government’s significant infrastructure investments and a pipeline of private development projects.
Reporting to the Deputy Secretary Planning, the Executive Director Planning Facilitation will work closely with the Planning Group and key DELWP, government and industry stakeholders to lead and deliver impact assessment and development facilitation functions. Through State Project Concierge and State Project Facilitation, you will, coordinate across DELWP in facilitating projects and to enhancing planning pathways.
To be successful in this position, you will have a reputation for values driven leadership and bring a mindset of enabling timely outcomes and constructive problem solving. Extensive experience in the successful development and delivery of major complex business reform programs is mandatory. Positive stakeholder engagement with a demonstrated track record in developing high-performing teams in complex environments are required for success. Knowledge of the Victorian Planning System and appropriate formal qualifications are expected.
