The Position
Charles Sturt University (CSU) is seeking to appoint a strategic and collaborative leader to the position of Executive Director, Student Success who will provide contemporary and future focussed leadership to enhance the student experience across the University. As a professional in the area of customer service, with demonstrated experience in the Higher Education or other related sectors, you will improve student engagement and raise the profile and reputation of the University, by leading service quality improvements across all cohorts of students. You will also provide proactive oversight to a range of student services and support programs.
Reporting to the Deputy Vice Chancellor- Students, the Executive Director is responsible for the operations of the Division of Student Services including Academic Success; Engagement; and Indigenous Student Success.
The successful candidate will be an influential leader with demonstrated experience in developing outstanding customer-oriented strategies that will enhance student outcomes and organizational performance. You will have the proven capability to design and lead change, as well as the capability to motivate high performance teams and to manage complex budgets. You will be entrepreneurial, commercially and digitally savvy, results-focused with strong stakeholder management skills. The appointee will showcase positive leadership and resilience, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will serve to create effective working relationships within the Division and more broadly with the University community.
