The Position
Our client is a regionally based environmental and irrigation organisation seeking to appoint an accomplished executive with proven expertise in stakeholder engagement and advocacy, able to work effectively through the Board, CEO, executive colleagues and a range of significant community and business stakeholders.
This exciting role is newly established and will connect shareholders to the organisation’s corporate strategy, increase shareholder participation in company governance, coordinate and integrate company marketing, communication, advocacy & government relations and develop existing and new shareholder engagement channels.
With a keen willingness to work both autonomously and collaboratively, the successful candidate will have an excellent reputation as a resilient, persuasive and influential leader. Past relevant experience in contemporary stakeholder engagement practices and capacity building that aligns to organisational outcomes is expected. He or she will enjoy both leading and rolling up their sleeves to do the job themselves. A background in agriculture or relevant regional utilities is highly desirable although not essential.
