The Position
This newly created role was recently elevated to join the Executive Leadership Group. As a key adviser to the CEO, the position is critical to VicHealth’s positioning as a world class leader in its field.
The role has an exciting breadth covering organisational design, workforce planning, talent acquisition, diversity & inclusion, employee relations & engagement and OH&S wellbeing. The role will ensure the people and culture function is integrated and supports the organisations’ overall goals and priorities.
The successful candidate will thrive delivering on an ambitious agenda, have a proven track record in the development and delivery of contemporary people initiatives and operationalising strategy into outcomes. High credibility, resilience, and strength in convictions are important attributes, along with thought leadership. Success requires an individual who is a change agent and has an established reputation as a trusted adviser and coach. As an agile P&C professional you will thrive under both the strategic and ‘hands on’ as required with a small team.
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are necessary with a demonstrated ability to influence and drive positive outcomes. Tertiary qualifications in business, HR or organisational change are highly desirable. Along with a clear performance focus, values driven leadership needs to be a core value.
