Executive Officer, Governance, Policy and Quality

The Australian Skills and Quality Authority (ASQA) seeks an outstanding Executive Officer, Governance, Policy and Quality to play a key role in the provision of high level policy advice and the preparation of briefs.  Working collaboratively with regulatory staff, the role contributes to strategic and operational planning processes and provides secretariat support to the Commissioner.
With a demonstrated ability to provide high level support and advice to senior management, the ideal candidate will bring experience in complex research and analysis, combined with high level interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.  Flexibility, initiative and resilience will be essential to work independently in a busy environment.  The appointee will hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as law or public policy, and will ideally bring an understanding of the vocational education and training sector in Australia.
