The Position
This is an exciting opportunity to join Uniting Vic.Tas during a time of change and transformation. Uniting Vic.Tas is seeking to appoint three Executive Officers (EO) positions. Each EO provides place-based leadership for the development, delivery, performance and quality of operations with a focus on fostering and facilitating innovation to strengthen and improve service delivery at the local level. The EO will also contribute to Uniting’s strategic and operational leadership. The roles are for the following communities:
- Executive Officer, Eastern and Southern Melbourne (ref: UVTesm1118) – applications close 7 January 2019
based in Dandenong
- Executive Officer, Ballarat, Barwon and Western Melbourne (ref: UVTbbw1118) – applications close 7 January 2019
based in Ballarat
- Executive Officer, Wimmera (ref: UVTwim1118) – accepting applications until 28 January 2019
based in Horsham
The successful candidate will have demonstrated management experience in leading community related programs and services in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment. You will be a high-level communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to forge strong networks and represent Uniting in the community. With a customer-focused approach, you will be committed to quality service and able to lead continuous improvement. You will be highly collaborative and consultative coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in community or health services is essential and tertiary qualifications are required.
