The Position
This role has responsibility for the administration of key financial functions in the school including all special purpose funds, trading accounts (uniform shop, aquatics program/learning to swim school), Associations and Friends Groups accounts and the delivery of best practice financial management, payroll administration and accounting services. A highly experienced strategic administrator with CPA or ICA qualifications you will have advanced computer literacy skills and knowledge of integrated computerised financial management and spreadsheet applications.
Responsible for a team of 5, you will report to the Business Manager and have gained significant experience in a diversified medium or large corporation or government department with the demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team for successful outcomes. With a strong understanding of accrual accounting principles, you will also have expertise in the delivery of management reporting. Knowledge of Synergetic and/or previous experience in a similar role in an educational environment would be a distinct advantage
