The Position
Our client is a regionally based environmental and irrigation organisation seeking to appoint a well-rounded Financial Controller to deliver on its core financial obligations as well as contribute to the organisation’s longer-term strategic planning and direction.
The role leads management reporting, budgeting, CAPEX and external liaison on tax, audit and investment matters and effectively partners with internal stakeholders in their business objectives.  The role requires an individual with a successful track record as a team player with strong persuasion and influence skills. A long-standing reputation of professional integrity and accountability is essential.
It is envisaged that the successful incumbent will have a succession plan to become the organisation’s Chief Financial Officer.
Bringing leadership and a strong customer focus, the successful candidate will be commercial, adaptable and forward thinking. Tertiary qualifications are required in accounting, business or a related discipline with CPA/ Chartered Accountant credentials.
