The Position
Our client is expanding their services and creating a new business operating unit. They seek a new Finance manager who will oversee the organisation’s financial operations, ensuring accurate processing of accounts payable, invoicing, and payroll. This role is critical in preparing timely financial reports, monitoring key contract KPIs, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The Finance Manager collaborates closely with the Commercial Manager to support board reporting, manage relationships with the organisation’s finance team, and optimise financial processes. Key responsibilities include implementing internal controls, enhancing financial systems for better efficiency, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves leading the finance team, driving performance, and fostering a collaborative approach to service delivery. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications, CA/CPA membership, significant operational finance experience, and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
The Finance Manager role offers the opportunity to manage the day-to-day financial operations of our client’s organisation, including accounts payable, invoicing and payroll. You’ll ensure that these key functions run smoothly, accurately, and in compliance with relevant regulations and contractual obligations. Your role will be vital in maintaining the financial health of the organisation by ensuring timely processing and reporting, as well as managing supplier and contractor payments effectively.
As Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial operations through the implementation and monitoring of internal controls. You’ll oversee compliance with accounting standards and regulations, coordinate with the parent company’s finance team for audits, and resolve any audit related issues. Your focus on maintaining robust internal controls will be essential in safeguarding the organisation’s financial assets and ensuring accurate reporting.
