The Position
Public Transport Victoria (PTV) is seeking a General Manager, Enterprise Information Management to lead the organisation in its mission to deliver an information rich and digitally aware service for customers, operators and the community. As a key leader in the Chief Information Office Division, this function will ensure that the organisations technology investments meet the needs of PTV and support all aspects of the businesses operations.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, this position is the senior executive responsible for leading the information strategy, governance, standards and analytics capability of PTV. Leading a team and proactively managing a complex stakeholder environment, this pivotal role will deliver the vision of an information driven organisation that can provide the right data to the right people at the right time.
The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities and have excellent stakeholder management skills. With a track record of leading change in a large and complex organisation that has gone through a transition towards a data rich environment, you will have a clear understanding of contemporary business intelligence and information management programs. Your superior communication skills will underpin your ability to drive business, culture and technology change in a dynamic public entity.

PTV is a single contact point for customers wanting information on public transport services, fares, tickets and initiatives.
