The Position
After a period of operational restructuring, Villa Maria Catholic Homes is pursuing a people-centric growth stratagem to meet service delivery objectives whilst continuing to build and strengthen employee engagement.  This will involve driving managerial ethos, employee development programs and talent acquisition strategies that align to the current and long-term needs of the organisation.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this executive level position also has responsibility for functional unit operations, training, compliance, reporting, planning and performance management.  A key focus of this role will be to build capability and drive cultural change to support commercial and mission-based objectives.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, contemporary, experienced HR professional, capable of managing a complex change agenda to support the businesses key areas of operation.  With demonstrated board experience, strong business acumen and analytical skills, the appointee will possess values that align with the organisation and a willingness to commit to VMCH’s vision, mission and values.  Ideally, the appointee will have experience within the aged care, disability and/or community services sectors.  Appropriate tertiary qualifications and a sound level of computer literacy are required, with payroll management experience highly regarded.
