The Position
Coliban Water is seeking a contemporary and solutions focused professional to lead and manage enterprise wide risk and compliance management.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager Strategy and Governance, the position is a member of the senior leadership team and works closely with the Board. The General Manager will be charged with ensuring the development and implementation of robust systems, processes and frameworks that align with the organisation’s strategic direction and objectives. Central to this position will be the effective monitoring and reporting of corporate performance consistent with leading practice and public sector requirements.
The successful candidate will have management experience in organisational risk and compliance with the capacity to provide corporate governance support to the Corporate Secretary. You will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, have a collaborative style and be skilled at building relationships and trust with key stakeholders. You will also display strong people centred leadership competencies.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in areas such as risk, law, governance or audit is required, ideally at post graduate level. Exposure to the public sector is highly desirable.
