The Position
Benetas finds itself at an exciting juncture as it implements its ambitious ‘Next Generation Strategy 2025’ which is focused on offering innovative services to people as they age and a distinctive customer experience to consumers with greater expectations of safety, quality, choice and responsiveness. The organisation seeks to appoint a new General Manager Quality, Outcomes and Research to continue to enhance and embed a strong culture of excellence in service quality and clinical governance across the entire business to ensure outstanding quality of life outcomes for Benetas consumers.
Reporting to the CEO, and working across the organisation, the General Manager will lead the quality, compliance and continuous improvement function as well as risk management. The General Manager will also actively engage in research projects and translate findings into evidence-based practice to improve service delivery and innovation.
The ideal candidate will be a thought leader who is an inspiring and strong communicator. Ideally equipped with a background in community / health / human services, they will be recognised as a powerful campaigner for quality care with the proven ability to ensure good governance is part of the business culture.  Evidencing strong change management experience, the successful candidate will be a systems thinker who has a well-developed ability to analyse and leverage data.  Outcome driven and possessing exceptional people management skills, the appointee will have a genuine interest in improving the experiences of older people and will hold client experience as their North Star.
Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field such as research, health, public/social policy, social science, risk or compliance will be highly regarded.  Clinical qualifications to a tertiary level desirable.
