The Position
As a key member of the GRV executive leadership team, the General Manager, Racing will be instrumental in delivering exciting and attractive racing programs, registrations and other racing related operational activities; and maintaining animal welfare at the heart of the sport.
Reporting into the Chief Executive, the new General Manager, Racing will be an experienced, strategic leader with a track record of contributing to and enhancing the ongoing success of an organisation. The position will be responsible for leading a highly motivated team, creating an exceptional racing customer experience and growing the sport of greyhound racing.
The successful candidate will actively engage with greyhound racing participants and clubs, be visible across a diverse range of stakeholders and have a highly refined consultative approach and be compelling, whilst maintaining credibility. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential to this position as is the ability to use data insights and analytics in decision making. You will have a keen interest in or a deep understanding of the racing industry and be committed to the integrity in greyhound racing.
