The Position
The General Manager Service, Quality and Innovation (GM SQI) is a new role to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Service Quality and Innovation function for VincentCare. As part of the Senior Leadership Team the GM SQI will lead critical project initiatives and an ambitious change agenda across quality systems improvement, data analytics and reporting and incorporating the client voice into service design and practice.
The GM SQI will provide leadership to VincentCare’s Award winning Continuous Quality Improvement function across VincentCare and its services and overall accreditation capability, including accreditation as a Rainbow Tick Accredited organisation. The approach of the GM SQI will be to build organisational capability in evidence, research, policy and advocacy to further the mission and purpose of VincentCare. The GM SQI will operate as the expert advisor on all Quality operating activities, spearheading the identification and deployment of initiatives that will serve to increase the VincentCare’s strategic capacity and viability.
To be successful in the role you will be a highly motivated professional with proficiency in influencing and communicating change, implementing and monitoring quality systems and a passion for quality and innovation. As an effective change management agent, you will be able to engage and influence a wide range of staff and be known as innovative, proactive and adaptive. You may draw on experience from a range of backgrounds such as health, community services or transfer your manufacturing expertise. Tertiary qualifications are required.

The Organisation
VincentCare was established to provide a range of professional accommodation and support services to people that are facing disadvantage and those that are ageing throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria. The primary focus is to provide quality services for people at risk or experiencing homelessness, people with a disability, and men and women struggling with complex needs including substance abuse and mental health issues. The organisation also advocates for vulnerable and disadvantaged people, so as to provide them with support and encouragement and enable greater independence
